Refund Policy

At Farmer You, we strive for your complete satisfaction with our liners, inserts and microgreen supplies and kits. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we're here to help.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You have 30 days from the date you received your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

Unused and in the same condition that you received it.

In the original packaging.

Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of the product, the following items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:

Seeds: All seed packets, bulk seeds, or seeds included in kits are non-returnable once the package or sealed inner bag is opened.

Growing Mediums: MagniMoist grow pads

Gift Cards.
2. Initiating a Return

Contact Us: To start a return, please contact us at customerservice@farmeryou.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

Authorization: If your item is eligible, we will send you instructions on where to send your package.

Shipping: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong or defective item). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.
3. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.

Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted for items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
4. Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive an item that is defective or damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately (within 3 days of delivery) at customerservice@farmeryou.com and provide:

Your order number.

A detailed description of the damage or defect.

Photographs of the item and the packaging.
We will assess the situation and, at our discretion, will either send you a replacement item or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
5. Issues with Seed Germination
While we source the highest quality seeds, germination success is dependent on external factors outside of our control (temperature, water quality, light, etc.).

If you experience unusually poor germination across an entire packet, please contact us. We will ask for details regarding your growing conditions (following the tips in our [Microgreen Growing Guide] to help troubleshoot the issue.

We handle germination issues on a case-by-case basis and may offer replacement seeds or credit at our discretion.
6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged (see Section 4). If you need to exchange an item for a different product, you must return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
